Job Description
1. Play a key role in leading financial due diligence assignments including developing procedures, allocating resources, and leading staff members.
2. Determine procedures necessary to achieve the desired results. Draft work programs appropriate for the assignment.
3. Lead a skilled group of diligence professionals and be proficient with the broad range of skills commonly used by a national accounting / consulting firm.
4. Report findings and make recommendations for the correction of noted deficiencies; review diligence reports prepared by team members.
5. ntain strong client focus by building strong relationships with clients, scheduling and conducting key client meetings.
6. y a key role in the development of less experienced staff through mentoring, training and advising.
7. ist management in client proposals and development of thought leadership white-papers.
8. y an active role in development and roll-out of training initiatives for staff.
Desired Candidate Profile
1. Ability to travel up to 40% is expected.
2. Post graduate qualification as a CA or CPA.
3. Position requires a minimum of 3 to 6 years of due diligence or statutory audit experience.
4. Must have demonstrated experience in managing significant audit projects in a leadership role.
5. Regularly updated with the new accounting standards and pronouncements.
6. Strong report writing and presentation skills.
7. Excellent communication, relationship building and critical thinking skills.
8. Strong PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
