Job Description

Our clientis looking for business development professionals in the Middle East region to penetrate and strengthen their presence in the region.

In addition to doing sales, this role will include strategic development and expansion of their research offerings into related businesses.. namely business research for corporate and retail analytics.

Key responsibilities include

‘ Sourcing new clients in need of outsourced Research & Analytics

‘ Developing and managing strategic relationships with key decision makers and senior management

‘ Maintaining and expanding existing Client relationships

‘ Marketing and branding activities

‘ Submission of proposals/RFPs from time to time

‘Staying abreast of competitive landscape, market conditions, new concepts and practices

‘Relying on experience, network and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and budgets

‘Strategizing and identifying opportunities via in-depth regional market knowledge to expand services into Africa and Eastern Europe, and coordination with senior management for implementation of those initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile : Qualified candidates must have demonstrated experience developing strategic alliances with decision makers at Banking &Financial Institutions such as Hedge and Mutual Funds, Investment Banks, Commercial Banks, Corporates, Research Houses (buy and sell side), Private Equity Shops, VCs, etc. in the Middle East region.

Candidates must possess integrity, motivation, aggression and ability to operate independently. Although heading the ME region, he/she will report to the Global Sales & Business Develeopment team (operating out of USA) and assist them in maximizing their revenue potential by developing new business from key clients (in the Middle East region). Skills set must include strong presentation, interpersonal, written/verbal communication, negotiation and deal making capabilities.Will be involved in new client acquisition and client mining. Prior proven record of building and successfully marketing a new brand/service to the financial services industry will be viewed favorably.

This position will also require good knowledge on execution of cross-border business models, thus, previous Business Process Outsourcing experience is desirable though not necessary. Successful candidates will have extensive local contacts in the financial services industry, be experienced in marketing at the corporate level and have a demonstrated history of achieving objectives (closing deals).
