Research Experience : Desired
The candidate must have good exposure to either consumer research or brand research or advertising / promotion / media research, preferred in the order of listing.
Sector Experience : Desired
The candidate must have excellent exposure to household care / consumer durable / alcohol sectors, preferred in the order of listing.
Requirements
The first preference will be for candidates who have worked in the qualitative research realm in a market research company. The second preference will be for candidates who have worked as brand manager / planner for a marketing company / advertising agency / media house / brand consultancy.
The role encompasses handling multiple projects / assignments & so, the incumbent must have exposure to supporting clients on multiple projects / assignments, handling them with tact / diplomacy / assertiveness & ensuring deliverables on business targets. Ability to be able to deliver project excellence through a keen understanding of client needs, research solutions, and analysis requirements is essential.
Expertise at job planning like evolving processes to reach goals, prioritization, anticipation and contingency planning, utilization of resources, reviewing progress & proven time management skills are very critical to the success on the role. Advanced critical reasoning in terms of ability to synthesize data, applying logic & reasoning for problem solution, & cause-effect analyses are a must.
The role will have a team reporting into it. The candidate will lead a research team that will undertake market research assignments in the areas specified above. Team management skills comprising of fostering ownership, delegation, timely interventions, teaching orientation, ability to give feedback & effectively manage stress are a must.
The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both oral & written. The incumbent to the role will be required to interact, make presentations to senior / top management of reputed companies, requiring him to be very high on self confidence & also have exposure to the same.
Additional Information
The ideal candidate must have a consistent academic record, starting from his 10th to the highest
The ideal candidate must also be involved in extra curricular activities at significant depths
