Designation: Project Manager
Job Description: The PM would be an interface between different customers, multiple teams and projects at different stages of the lifecycle. He would be required to perform different roles :
1)Requirement Analysis
Depending on the client project specifications, the PM may be required to do a requirement analysis, he/ she would be required to interact with the client, probe the client and come back with a crystal clear understandings of the client’s expectations as well as set the correct expectations.
2)Risk Analysis
The PM would be required to do a Risk Analysis taking into consideration internal resources, requirement for each project in terms of

3) Project Planning and Control
The PM is responsible for the delivery of multiple projects to the end clientele.
4) Account ManagementHe would be required to probe the client to understand their exact need and communicate the same objectively to the development team. Also he would be responsible for: Increasing the Scope, Repeat Business Customer Relations Management.
5)Quality Control
The PM also has to ensure that the delivery is within the established quality standards as well as pass the test of ATP, UTP
6)Project Management
The PM should be thorough in Project Management as well as the SDLCHe should have good knowledge of Project development models Waterfall, Spiral, Incremental, Iterative, Project Planning & Execution, should be able to create and implement: – Gantt/Pert, Charts, MS Project Project plans. Quality Control Make ATP, UTP Understand Process Life cycles Should know the factors which are CTQ Design System Requirement Specifications ,Understand Solution Architecture Make HLD, LLD Coding standards and guidelines.
7) Presales
The person would be required to analyze the business requirement, suggest solutions for same and furnish. qualified inputs to the BD/ Sales team on Estimations , Scope, Technology specifications Skills required.
Human Resource Management
He has to ensure that the teams have adequate resources. Identifies Training Needs, involved in doing appraisals, Manpower Analysis, coach/ counsel the team members act as a coordinator between the management and the team.
Desired Profile
*Should have 8-13 yrs plus experience in IT industry.
*Minimum 4 yrs in program/projects management.
*The person should have had certain amount of client interaction experience especially in requirement analysis (business analysts in IT companies), and account management. Previous Business Analysis and Consulting Experience .
*Certifications like PMP / PMI are a plus.
*Good Communication skills.
*Problem Solving Decision Making Interpersonal skills,sharp Business Acumen.
*He should be Result Oriented and Assertive.
*Should possess Analytical bent of mind, initiative and team management skills.
