Job Description
Should have Experience with Oracle as a Database Administrator, giving remote database support, maintaining production databases, writing shell scripts database cloning, setting up RMAN backups
Desired Candidate Profile
Should be involved in installing oracle databases, applying patchsets / one-off patches. configuring database listeners, database tuning, query optimization, troubleshooting and supporting distributed applications and production and making strategy for databases backup and recovery
Should be Monitoring the database health, system resource usage and so on.
Should do Database backup strategy (Physical, Logical & RMAN) and Recovery scenarios.
Should have experience in Cloning the database using Cold / hot / RMAN Backups.
Should be a team player with strong communication, leadership, analytical, organizational and relationship management skills, with expertise in interfacing with international project teams for successful execution of projects.
