The Global Engineering Centre will be engaged in design, construction, world class manufacturing and benchmarking of global engineering practices for all the 38 manufacturing locations across the globe. Designation:Team Leader – Turnkey Equipment
Job Description :The candidates will be positioned at Chennai and will be involved in design and engineering work, benchmarking of equipment and systems and technical assistance to Saint-Gobain plants globally. They will be responsible for development of engineering specifications using reference documents, performance reports, data collection, standards and codes.
Desired Profile
- BE Mechanical / Production
- Experience in designing & detailing of turnkey equipment specification.
- Middle and senior level technical professionals in the age group of 30 to 35 years with multi-cultural orientation.
- The Candidates should have graduated from reputed engineering institution with exemplary academic record, good communication and documentation skills.
- 10 years of work experience in a design and engineering organization or the engineering cell of a large process industry like Glass, Paper, Fertilizer, Petrochemical, Steel, Aluminum, and Cement. They should have the knowledge of material properties & selection and international standards and codes.
