Responsibilities
Experience of UNIX Sun Solaris, Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas Cluster and/or Sun Cluster.
* Systems Integration experience.
* Knowledge of UNIX Systems management toolsets.
* Provide a LEAD ROLE support for day to day UNIX 3rd level support issues.
* Serve as the primary interface between User Support teams and IT organizations/Development Teams, participating in daily/weekly meetings.
* MANAGE PROJECTS and apply in-depth business knowledge as well as technical skills to ensure timely delivery of solutions according to specifications, time and budget.
* Ensure new UNIX operating systems patches, releases/tools are effectively integrated into current processes and environment. Also ensure that we meet SLA objectives for system availability and safeguard data integrity.
* Review/Produce support documentation and provides recommendations, as well as maintenance/service requests
